MONTHLY REFLECTIONS

November:
Our second part teaching practice started in November 2. We got the same school for second phase teaching practice which was RVSMHSS prayar. Along with me and other students. We get new classes. In this month we enjoyed vrischikam 1. and all of us wore setsaree. The NCC unit in the school get best NCC unit award. In the school get best NCC unit.In this month we conducted an awareness class " NERVAZHI " in GHSS HARIPADU.That was a wonderful experience. The school festival was conducted on November 9&10 .Students were conducted so many programms like oppana ,thiruvathira, drama etc.....

Community living camp

As a part of our b.ed curriculum, we felt the need to organise community living camp in our college Because it is significant for the student teacher to develop their sense of care compassion and social responsibility. The camp is very helpful to develop the skills and to promote dignity of labor. The theme of our community living camp is "NATURE , AGRICULTURE , CULTURE AND EDUCATION ". The name of our camp is" PARIVARTHANA-2016

Study tour

Study tour are intended to give the students learning experience. It is important that the students make use of study tour as a part of b.end curriculum.we conducted a tour on 25 th February 2016. We started our journey with full of excitement to Vagamon.It is the most beautiful place located at the heart of As Idukki district.

Reflection of teaching practice ( phase 1)

We started our teaching practices on 22 nd june at RVSMHSS prayar we are 11 trainees in total including me and jaseena from English Ammu Saranya Gopika Athira from social science Anju Aiswarya vijayalakshmi from natural science Maya and Aswathi from matha matics .jaseen and Aswathi were the leaders of our team we reached the at 9 15 and hand over our register to headmistress mrs lekha she arranged a special meeting for us and welcomed us to their school At first we created the subject clubs. The English club was named as Shakespeare club, Maths club was named as Ramanujan club , social science club was named as Herodotus club , and natural science club was named as Aristotle club . we conducted so many programmes in the school and celebrated important days
As a teacher trainee lam very happy to get this school for teaching practice. As a teacher trainee we get so many opportunities for improve our teaching. We get so many chance to conduct programms ,and get a chance with various students and teachers.

Field visit

Field trips are intended to give the students learning experience through fun it is important that the students make use of the field trip,observe the things and make notes on October 6 We conducted a field trip to Alappuzaha Ravi karunakaran museum 7 students and 1 teacher included in this trip. When we entered in the museum we actually surprised because such amount of treasures are preserve their the guide had explained all the historical details of the museum

Initiatory school experience

As a part of initiative programme in b.ed curriculum, we went for a school trip for 5 days .we were assigned to the school named PKKSMHSS kayamkulam this school has both English &Malayalam medium. It was a good experience for me to observe the school this school trip helped to get an idea about school, students and how to mingle with the students it is also an experience training for teaching practice most of as got a good experience but some votes bitter once. It is an avoidable programme in b.end curriculum

Subject association programme

As a part of B.end curriculum, there is a growing necessity of organising various creative activity from each option for the convenience of this organization and arrangement, Each option had arranged their subject association. This subject association had a body of members with the option teacher as the head.
For our English association we gave a powerful name that is "PEGASUS" means flying horse on September 15 2015 our principal, sir jyothiraj sir inaugurated our association by lighting the lamp,our association tried to be worthy of it's name, as we tried by every means to fly above and high like a pegasus to achieve the goals and to explore the new horizons of knowledge and experience

Programmes

Activity 1 : The English association programme had conducted our first programme on September 15 , 2015 .It was an in formative exhibition on the topic"INDIAN ENGLISH WRITERS".We include all the essential writers like Chetan bhagath , Salman Rushidie , kamala Days , Rabinder Singh ,.......The programme was inaugurated by our beloved principal sir jyothiraj sir ,by cutting the ribbon , for making exhibition interesting , We includes some interesting games like finding idioms , jumpled up , find me from exhibitions etc.....All the teachers and students were actively participated in the games and Jisha from commerce won the prize . Activity 2 :The second proramme conducted by English association by the Pegasus was the arrangement of a library. In this modern society their is no time for maintaing reading habitat among students. That is why pegasus had began to start a library the inauguration of library was on 4 October 2015 inaugurated by our college principal jyothiraj sir by cutting ribbon.Thus the library was a big success.

Activity 3 : The skill in writing is important as far as the language students are concerned extra curricular activities like bringing and dedicated magazine put a positive pressure on the pupil to work on their writing skills , Which get sharpened in the process "mirror" is such an endeavour in which the students of English option (2015-2016)batch of JBMCTE contributed for producing a digital magazine worth reading.

Activity 4 :The other activity conducted by the English option or English association "Pegasus" was a debate. It was on 3 November 2015. The topic for the debate was "ARE CONTEMPORARY MALAYALAm MOVIES LOOSING MORAL VALUES" two students from each option had participated in the debate Riyas sir and , and pushpalatha teacher were the judges of the programme.we found the best orator, best debator and best team.

Activity 5: The other activity conducted by English association Pegasus

was a quiz programme. The quiz was on the basis of "Author and their works". Two students from each option had participated in the competition. The programme was held on 14 November 2015 our principal jyothiraj Sir had inagurated the quiz programme by asking first question.

SEMESTER II

Activity 1: In the second semester also , the English association had conducted activities. The first activity is an inter-school easy competition. The programme was held on Feb 12 2016 , at first we decided the topic and informed all the schools around the college. The topic for competition" media and culture".

Activity 2: The English association Pegasus conducted our next programme was spell Bee. It was on March 5. Our principal jyothiraj sir inaugurated the programme by cutting ribbon All the teacher activity participated in the activity.

Activity 3 :The next programme conducted by the English association Pegasus, was to take an awareness class to all other students of our college about"the basics of grammer" we give preference to grammer.

Activity 4 :The English association conducted a programme "Nuances of English" .A awareness class on semantic structure, some of the different meaning relations that exist among lexical items.on March 18 we conducted this programme in our college auditorium

Activity 5: On march 28 the last programme of our English association were conducted this was an interesting activity. All the members of the English option was write a script of the lesson "The school for sympathy" of standard 8.and we enacted this on the stage
